It was a really exciting project to put together. For the aerial scenes we used a nose mount camera. To get the boat scene the pilot flew at 80 mph backwards 30 feet over the boat's hull!

The crew we pulled together was amazing - a total of 15 people gave it 100% that day. The boat was a one of a kind "go fast" boat that was just built 3 days prior to the shoot and shipped down for the job.

The whole piece was shot on the RED camera which is absolutely astounding. It shoots at 4K resolution (4 times HD) and up to 120 frames per second. What that means is that we can go into the video and create full resolution raw photos from any frame of the video and generate a 12 megapixel photo. So not only does the client get a great HD video piece but also a portfolio of photos as well.

It's always wonderful to have such a nice break and see the family but I definately look forward to the warm South Beach weather...This time it was a shock when after returning to Miami it was colder than Canada!
