Here's a montage from Meredith's birthday that I recently photographed in the Hamptons. What an amazing celebration! It's really great doing these kind of parties - this one reminds me of the "life celebration" party we did in December where Rod Stewart gave a private performance.

I've been out to the Hamptons a few weekends in a row recently to do some shooting. I photographed Matt Lauer, his beautiful wife Annette and their kids last week. Annette is always so hospitable and kind - she even gave our kids gifts when Carter was born.
I also did an unbelievable birthday party last weekend in the Hamptons where I ran into so many past clients. It's always great to see people as they progress through their lives - having kids and growing their families. |
We recently photographed Charity and Olivier's wedding. You'll have to look for them in the upcoming issue of the Martha Stewart Weddings issue - they are featuring their engagement shoot as well as one of our other clients Rebecca and Chris.
One thing I have found is that often times I never meet the client until their engagement shoot or on their wedding day. Most of my clients have heard of me through their friends and book me based on what they know of my work.

I received the most recent issue of the Martha Stewart magazine and saw the shoot I did on Darcy and her wonderful ideas. Always so gratifying to see the photos in print!

| Imagine my surprise when on a recent trip to NY I was stopped on the street with "Donna - is that you...". To my surprise it was a family that I photographed many years ago back when I lived in Vancouver. Barb, Marty, and their daughter Katrina were in NY for a holiday and we all couldn't believe us running into each other so randomly on the street. We chatted and set up a photoshoot for the next day.
