It's that time of year again - we did our Holiday Card recently with Lauren and Carter. The results are always nice but what you don't see is the difficulty in getting "the shot". If you just looked at this image you would think that we have the best behaved kids that are used to posing for photos... That couldn't be further from reality! Our kids don't take a formal photo-shoot seriously...it's just Mommy and Daddy!
I'm not sure how this seemingly calm moment happened but here it is - and Happy Holidays to you all!

This week was Miami's big Art Basel time of year - so we found ourselves "Baseling" this week. Our intentions were good taking the kids to the show but after about 10 minutes Carter hit his limit. Thank goodness Ian was smart enough to pull out his iPhone and play one of Carter's favorite movies. That kept him quiet for awhile.
Apparently Basel is the country's biggest art celebration with the big event taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center but the real fun is with all of the off shoot art shows and parties.

We love this time of year - beyond the obvious Holiday season... It's Modeling Season here in South Beach! The locals simply call it "season".
We recently shot two models and absolutely had a blast. I especially love this aspect of photography as I get to take my time with the subjects and really see my vision come to fruition.
