Disney World
November 25, 2008

Last week we took the kids to Disney World for the first time - What a blast! My sister was in Orlando for business so she was able to spend some time at the parks with us as well. Lauren loved it so much that she said "Mommy....can we stay here?". I guess that's how a 3 year old expresses that she wants to live at Disney World.

Lauren's favorite part was the Nemo musical that we saw while Carter freaked out over the "Cars" movie exhibit.

At the end of the week I had to fly to NY for a wedding so Ian was stuck driving the kids back to Souch Beach solo. Ian dropped me off at the airport in Orlando and I actually made it to NY before he made it home to Miami.

Below is a picture of Carter catching bubbles at the Nemo musical:

I just added one of the appearances that I made on the Martha Stewart Wedding Radio Show. I have a couple more that I'll post soon as well.

It will take some time to load since it's a 40 minute segment.

Starting Young!
November 25, 2008

What a surprise when we checked our mail the other day and saw the Tiffany trademark blue in the mailbox addressed to our 19 month old son - Carter. They had sent him a catalog! I have no idea how they got his name, but maybe they are trying to cultivate the younger client base early…the funny thing is that it was full of engagement rings. Should we know something Carter?!

Halloween
November 9, 2008

Every year we take photos of the kids on Halloween. Last year we had such fun coordinating their costumes - Carter was Super Man and Lauren was Wonder Woman. This year Ian had it all planned out. Carter was going to be a football player and Lauren was going to be a cheerleader... Well - Lauren had her own idea of how Halloween was going to work out. All along she said that she wanted to be a spider. So of course we got her cheerleader costume and learned that she didn't want anything to do with it.

So we also bought her spider outfit. She ended up being a spider for her Halloween party, school, and for trick or treating and Ian finally had to bribe her to get her in the cheerleading costume for 5 minutes of photos. I guess this is the first year where she tells us what she's going to do!

Here are the photos:
